Dipkarpaz Northern Cyprus

Dipkarpaz Golden Sands
Golden Sands is one of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Cyprus with turquoise sea and endless sand dunes. Caretta sea turtles also live here and come to lay their eggs every year. The sight of the baby turtles hatching is breathtaking. There are few restaurants and recreation centers in a natural style, but in total there are 46 pristine beaches on the Dipkarpaz Peninsula.
Dipkarpaz Attractions
Cape Zafer Burnu is the easternmost point of Northern Cyprus and offers breathtaking views of the sea. The Monastery of the Apostle Andrew is the most important monastery in Northern Cyprus and has a healing spring. It is said that the icon of the Apostle Andrew near the source grants wishes. Dipkarpaz wild asses are a symbol of Northern Cyprus and a popular attraction for tourists. There is also a popular hiking route along the peninsula that leads to Cape Zafer Burnu.
Getting to Dipkarpaz
There is no public transport to get to Dipkarpaz. The journey with a rental car takes about 3-4 hours from Kyrenia. The roads on the peninsula are narrow and some sections are gravel or dirt roads, but the journey is definitely worth it.
